Our stay at Kele Yala was absolutely amazing. The location was tucked away in a beautiful jungle setting, creating a unique and serene atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a forest theme, and they were impeccably clean and comfortable. We enjoyed delicious meals in the open air dining room, surrounded by the vibrant colors of the jungle. One morning, we were delighted to witness purple sun birds sipping nectar from the flowers inside the dining room. It was truly a magical experience. The hotel manager, Eranga, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. He organized a fantastic safari to Yala National Park and made sure we had a knowledgeable and experienced driver. The highlight of our stay was the safari, where we encountered an incredible variety of wildlife, including a leopard, sloth bear, crocodiles. The hotel also had a lovely swimming pool and captivating gardens filled with diverse flora and fauna. The absence of Wi-Fi made Kele Yala even more peaceful. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a truly unforgettable experience.

I also appreciated that the manager let me use his phone as a hotspot when I needed to get online. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The rooms at this hotel were large and spacious, with comfortable beds and showers. the safari chic decor added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the server and chef at dinner who made sure we had a great variety of local dishes. the organized safari was well-structured, despite our unfortunate luck with the rain.
The lack of WiFi was a downside, even though it could be seen as a way to disconnect. the breakfast on the safari was quite basic and bland, although all other meals at the hotel were excellent.
